The Sand Painters Art Guild Reception

The West Nebraska Arts Center, with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, is pleased to present this collection of original artworks, note cards, prints, and more by members of the Sand Painters Art Guild. Everyone is invited to the gallery for the opening reception of the Sand Painters Art Guild, Saturday, June 4th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres, refreshments will be served. The gallery exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. Sand Painters Art Guild is an organization open to all persons interested in the creation and/or promotion of the visual arts. With emphasis in the North Central Nebraska and South-Central South Dakota area, regardless of race or religion. Sand Painters Art Guild is a member of the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs (ANAC) and is a charter member of this organization. There are currently 35 members. In our show we will be displaying 70 pieces of artwork and 19 different artists. The artists are as follows Rick Yusten, Emily Swan, Eve Millar, Doris Heath, Christine May (Cernetisch), Debby Galloway, Jan Knispel, Bobbie J. Roshone, Hedda Matheson, Susan Pavelka, Priscilla Portenier, Geri Coleman, June Roork Sheppard, Chana Orton, Roberta Barnes, David Dorsey, Stephanie Carter Nielsen, Patricia Schemmer, Joan Swim. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. We are closed Mondays.
