Event Description:
Is your favorite stuffed friend feeling a little under the weather? The Riverside Discovery Center will be hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic. During this event children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Discovery Center to give it a 'check-up'.
UNMC Nursing Students will be helping check the teddy bears at different stations in the zoo. The Scottsbluff Police and Fire Department will be on hand as well as The Doves Program.
This is a family oriented event where children of all ages can have a good time and receive some great information about health and safety. We are thrilled to partner again with UNMC and for the first time with The Doves Program!
Stop by the Zoo Gift Shop and purchase a plush tiger or chimp now up through and including the 11th at a special discount. All of the plush animals purchased as part of this deal will be donated to children at The Doves Program and RDC will donate a children's and adult's day pass with every plush.
We hope to see everyone on March 11th for a day filled with fun!
