THE COMMUNITY IS INVITED TO HELP CELEBRATE 70 YEARS OF ENTERTAINMENT IN THE VALLEY AT THE HISTORIC MIDWEST THEATER!
Friends of the Midwest Theater Board of Directors would like to invite the community to join us for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Midwest Theater. We will be celebrating all week long May 3rd - May 7th, 2016 with a number of great community events.
Today the Midwest Theater & Premier Properties are excited to present "TAPPIN N' TIME". Tappin N' Time is a high-octane tap dance show that is performed and directed by Kyle Van Newkirk, the Tap Dance World Champion of 2015 and a Dancer for the Capezio ACE Awards. It will be an exciting night consisting of live energetic music, a smooth charismatic dancer, and tap dancers from the local community. We will be taking a trip back in time to year 1934 where tap was thriving in the film industry, then we will travel forward to where tap is today and is flourishing all over the world. Come and enjoy this entertaining night that will make you want to dance throughout the rest of the evening.
Funds raised from this concert will support the 2016 Renovation project at the Midwest Theater.
