THE COMMUNITY IS INVITED TO HELP CELEBRATE 70 YEARS OF ENTERTAINMENT IN THE VALLEY AT THE HISTORIC MIDWEST THEATER!
Friends of the Midwest Theater Board of Directors would like to invite the community to join us for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Midwest Theater. We will be celebrating all week long May 3rd - May 7th, 2016 with a number of great community events.
Today we begin with a screening of "GILDA" the first film that was shown on opening night (May 3rd, 1946) and in the original 35mm film format. Members of the Friends of teh Midwest Theater will be receiving a special invite to a "MEMBERS ONLY" cocktail party before the screening and the public is invited to enjoy FREE popcorn and FREE admission to watch the film at 7:30 p.m.
