This holiday tradition is held the first Saturday in December featuring hayrack rides, marshmallow roasting and cowboy coffee around a bonfire. Kids can make crafts, courtesy of Scotts Bluff National Monument who will be joining us this year. A hot meal is served while supplies last – your choice of vegetable or bean soup ($5) or a hotdog ($4), beverage, homemade bread, and dessert included. High Plains Christmas is also the kickoff to the Trees Along the Trail Christmas tree decorating contest. Event time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and all children under 12 are free.
