Healthy Mind, Healthy You Mental Health Awareness Exhibition

In our modern world we are surrounded by the wonders of modern science and ever-increasing knowledge about the health, diet and wellness of our bodies. However, sometimes we miss the health of our minds. As we discover ourselves, the good and broken, an outlet of expression is needed to reinforce growth of our unseen selves. Art can cater that need to take shape. Healthy Mind, Healthy You is an open media exhibition focused on self – discovery and personal growth that springs from the quest for mental wellness. Cirrus House, Inc. focuses on providing quality of life & independence for people living with mental illness in the Nebraska Panhandle through advocacy, housing, employment, education & a peer supported community where members can find purposeful belonging. This exhibit will open Thursday, Sept 5th, with a reception from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. It will be on display in the Bronson gallery through Oct. 27th.
