Elder Art: Creative Aging through the Arts Reception

The West Nebraska Arts Center, with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council, and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, is pleased to present Elder Art: Creative Aging Through the Arts Showcase. It will be presented June 30 – July 31, 2022. The works presented in this exhibition are from students 60 years old and up. They have been working with Mary Hunt Wednesday mornings 10am – 12pm. These classes are for all skill levels and free. Projects of all kinds are taught including but not limited to, sculpture, acrylic painting, design, salt dough ornaments and more. It is never too late to learn about art. Make sure to stop by to see these great projects. The reception is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. The gallery exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
