Potter’s Wheel Ministries to host ‘Bridal Extravaganza’ Saturday, Feb. 24
Calling all brides-to be! Are you looking for that perfect wedding dress or something lovely for your attendants? You won’t want to miss Potter’s Wheel Ministries “Bridal Extravaganza” from 12 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the PWM Community Store, 1815 First Ave. in Scottsbluff.
“We were recently blessed to receive more than a dozen designer wedding dresses, most with tags still on them,” said Monica Barela, Store Manager. “These gowns are absolutely stunning! We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw them.”
The majority of the dresses are by world-renowned designer Alfred Angelo. There are many styles and silhouettes to choose from in sizes ranging from 6 to 16. Although the gowns were originally store samples, many of them have never been tried on and none have been altered.
“These gorgeous gowns were originally priced from $350 to about $800, but we will be offering a 40 to 60 percent discount on all of them during our Bridal Extravaganza,” Barela said.
In addition to the wedding dresses, PWM also received more than 120 brand new formal gowns that would be perfect for attendants and family members. These dresses will also be heavily discounted.
“For those who would prefer something ‘not so new’ we’ll also have some vintage formal wear on sale at the event,” Barela said, adding, “Of course, no bridal ensemble would be complete without the perfect shoes, so there will also be a nice selection of shoes available as well.”
For brides who are looking for the perfect wedding cake, Jenn Ahlers from the Gering Bakery will be on site providing free cake consults and samples.
“Jenn does an amazing job and we are thrilled that she plans to join us!” Barela said.
The sale will continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 26-28 at the PWM Community Store.
